Our mission

MetMin is a community hub where people come together in kindness, compassion and mutual respect to provide needed assistance that prevents homelessness and fosters hopefulness.

What we do

MetMin provides emergency financial assistance on a first come, first served basis every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Standard assistance areas include: past due utility bills, past due rent, food vouchers to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank, and our on-site Grocery Store for Seniors (available only on Wednesdays). Guests are also connected with additional supportive goods and services that can help ensure their longer-term stability. MetMin recognizes that the best way to stop homelessness is to stop it before it starts.
