  • Note: This project does not include on-site event coordination or support on the day of the event

Greetings, we are holding our first annual Indigenous Solidary fundraiser and donation drive on May 05.

What we have in place
  • We currently have An event outlined and a venue booked, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have A marketing team to implement outreach efforts, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,002 , allowing us to Focus on day of event logistics and engaging with our community

Our goal is to curate resource return channels in our community, holding this event is one of those channels.

  • Professional connects with Volunteer Manager for brainstorming/overview session, to discuss goals, general concept and existing resources, including context about past events, if applicable
  • Volunteer Manager introduces staff and/or volunteers available to help with event planning and execution
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager outline next steps and timeline for sessions

  • Up to 6 calls with Professional, event point person, and/or others involved in strategy & decision-making
  • Professional drafts or gives feedback on event management timeline, identifying roles and responsibilities and, if applicable, general day-of-event schedule based on shared materials

Our grassroots collective care prioritizes mental health, spiritual wellness, and Ancestral wisdom to affirm the societal greatness of genderqueer People Of Culture. We practice zero-waste principles, returning to ancient traditions of land stewardship. As an Afro intersex + community led initiative we bolster basic dignities, access to leadership roles and truth telling. A decade strong Liberatory Network circulating resources to cultural hubs, collective housing, community gardens and families. We sustain genuine relationships built upon trust, collaboration & witnessing the fullness of each member. We value rest and creative expression as essential parts of living. Our community spaces exist for the purpose of replenishing and rejuvenating our bodies.
