Flexible Graphic Design Support

Project details

What we need
  • Ongoing graphic design support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
  • Support may include: logo design, flyer design, branded assets for social media
  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details

12-page booklet, designed in Canva (preferably), with catchy graphics/pictures or illustrations. These will detail fair housing rights and responsibilities under the law, common warning signs of possible discrimination, outline our services, including examples of previous cases, and show how to file a complaint. They will be given out in print and digitally to community members to raise awareness and increase inquiries to our office.

What we have in place
  • We currently have basic wording for each page, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have brand guidelines, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to fully investigate fair housing complaints. We can conduct two undercover tests and perform the advocacy needed for a person who uses a wheelchair to get their own accessible parking spot.

Far too often, the economically disadvantaged renters that we serve are limited in combating housing discrimination because of the lack of access to information about their rights. Targeted distribution of these booklets through direct mail and the offering of this resource at community events will play a vital role in carrying out our mission.
We will also make this resource available in a digital format as a free PDF download on our website and pay for advertising to direct people there.
