Project details

What we need
  • Recommendations for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tactics such as link-building campaigns, improvements to website or blog’s architecture, keywords to target within content, as well as proper naming of titles, meta information and images
  • Recommendations for implementing a paid advertising campaign of Organization’s choice, such as Pay Per Click (PPC), and advice on how to determine optimal spending on ads
  • Training on how to evaluate performance of SEM strategy, as well as how to measure key site metrics
  • Note: Google AdWords is one kind of PPC tool
What we have in place
  • One of our existing staff members is very familiar with Adwords. So we're looking for more advanced help with regards to managing our account. They also have a good understanding of what Magic Bus does so can give the right inputs regarding content.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,098 , allowing us to empower 5 entire village/slum communities by enrolling 250 children into the program for a year.

We have a Google Grants account worth $10,000 of advertising spend every month. We need help in (a) maximizing this spend (which we have not been successful in doing). (b) We also want to set up remarketing (which again we have not been able to do). Setting up (b) should take care of (a). Both will help us attract more traffic to our website.

Our mission

Magic Bus will give millions of children living in poverty the opportunity to control the way they view the world, the freedom to choose the role they will play in it, and the power to define their own destiny.

What we do

At Magic Bus, we move children out of poverty by nurturing them on a journey from childhood through to livelihood. We train local youth as mentors and role models to implement a sports-based curriculum to engage children and ensure that they make the right choices from childhood all the way through to better livelihoods as adults.

Today, we work with more than 250,000 children aged 7 to 18 and 8,000 youth leaders aged 18+.

Our philosophy revolves around the concept of mentoring. We inspire young adults who come from the same community as the children to deliver our program and to become role models for the children in these programs. These Community Youth Leaders are trained to deliver the researched, activity-based curricula we have pioneered to bring about changes in behaviors and practices. A large part of their work is to promote gender equality and access to education and health services, as well as developing a child's social and emotional skills. Their other key role is to work with the child’s support structure – his/her parents, the community at large and local institutions to ensure the change is sustainable.
