Project details

What we need
  • Design mockups (commonly done in Photoshop) of the most important pages of the website. Each page design should have its page elements separated into layers. A common webpage layout framework like Blueprint or other grid should be included to show precise width and element positioning. Key visual transition points of any interactive elements (e.g., menu dropdowns, menu item hovers) should be mocked as well.
  • A website style guide documenting the color palette values and fonts used globally and in specific areas (e.g., homepage, article page, navigation page), and interaction elements (e.g., menus, buttons, icons) of the site. The visual aspects of website features (e.g., teasers, pagination, subcategory navigation) should also be documented by including other specifics like widths, word counts, wrapping logic, etc.

    Our mission

Hidden Gems Inc.'s purpose is to organize educational and athletic projects for youth and adults. We find ourselves more interested in non-conventional projects and activities to expose our participants to a variety of things. The current two projects are archery in NYC high schools and a web-based intervention model to help students who have behavioral therefore disciplinary problems in schools.

    What we do

Hidden Gems, Inc. fosters sports and academics amongst youth and adults. We do this through partnerships with schools and other community organizations. Our goals is to make a difference in the urban communities we serve.

This year we have two focuses. One, is establishing archery in New York City high schools. Two, is to find an alternative way to intervene with high school students who have disciplinary problems.

The archery focus deals with fostering the sport of archery amongst students with various capabilities and disabilities in order to form an after-school archery league.

The disciplinary focus deals with establishing a web-based intervention model that can pair students up with the necessary organizations to help them with any issues that causes them to act out in school.
