Project details

What we need
  • A high-resolution digital version of an illustration that can be used across multiple channels (web, print, and/or merchandising)
What we have in place
  • We have a general logo and special 20th anniversary version. We can also provide catch words/phrases that could be helpful for sparking inspiration. We can provide direction about and criteria for the types of photos/images we seek. We will also provide the small number of photos we do have.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,212 , allowing us to offer ongoing professional development to our national learning network of 1000 community-based Touchpoints trainers who partner with families of young children.

We work with professionals who, in turn, work with young children and families. It can be challenging to communicate our brand visually, as we have only a very limited library of photographs. Our 20th anniversary year begins January 2016, and we would like a visual image (not a logo) that can be used for both web and print materials. This will help us to communicate our work visually, and better establish our brand identity.

Our mission

We partner with families of young children and the communities and systems of care that surround them so that all children – whatever their life circumstances, challenges, and resources may be – will be healthy, succeed as early learners and have the opportunity to thrive.

What we do

The Brazelton Touchpoints Project, Inc. (DBA Brazelton Touchpoints Foundation) was incorporated to raise and receive philanthropic support for the work of the Brazelton Touchpoints Center.

We collaborate with partners nationwide to establish scalable and sustainable, low-cost, low-tech interventions that propel children’s healthy development and strengthen the collaborative relationships among—families, parents, caregivers, providers, and communities.

Since 1996, our work has reached over:
1.5 million families
50,000 providers
1,000 community-based Touchpoints trainers 50 states and the District of Columbia
21 Tribal communities

We have delivered professional and organizational development, training, and technical assistance to more than:
175 child care centers and family child care programs
160 Head Start/Early Head Start centers or programs
100 health care settings
23 institutions of higher education in health care or early education
In-home services in 19 states

As we near our 20th anniversary in 2016, we reflect upon our beginning work with early adopters of Brazelton Touchpoints and the continued growth and impact of our practice and approach. We have developed a range of professional and organizational development programs; provided training, technical assistance and consultation to 50,000 individual child-serving practitioners; and have extended the reach of our work through the Office of Head Start National Center on Parent, Family and Community Engagement at the Brazelton Touchpoints Center. We are excited about making our future offerings more robust and accessible to better meet the needs of our growing nationwide learning network.
