Project details

What we need
  • Up to 5 new reports in an Organization’s instance of Salesforce
  • Training on how to interpret and make basic updates to reports
Additional details

We need support on creating fundraising specific reports

What we have in place
  • We currently have a few donor specific reports, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have work guides, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $8,782 , allowing us to allocate towards capacity building and infrastructure

As we scale up and need to report on our outcomes, these reports will be critical to showcase our work and to also secure future funding

Prep: Alignment on Salesforce Setup & Reporting Goals
  • Volunteer Manager introduces the Professional to the Organization’s Salesforce setup and provides them with a detailed description of reporting needs and use cases
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional align on feasibility of what kinds of reports can be set up in Salesforce to meet these needs
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with admin-level access to the Organization’s Salesforce instance

Milestone 1: Draft Report Creation
  • Professional prepares initial drafts of reports in the Organization’s Salesforce instance
  • Professional presents reports to the Volunteer Manager and receives & implements any feedback (up to two rounds)

Milestone 2: Report Finalization & Training
  • Professional presents final versions of reports and trains Volunteer Manager and any other relevant staff on how to read and interpret them
  • Professional provides training on how to make simple changes to reports (e.g. inserting date filters)
  • Professional provides training on the overall functionality of Salesforce reports
  • Professional is available for up to two weeks to answer any questions about reports
