What we need
- Ongoing finance support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
- Support may include: budgeting, planning, systems set up and review
- Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details
We need someone to draft a finance policy for us tailored to our small finance team. I would like to ensure that our policy has internal controls in place to prevent fraud and proper segregation of duties. It would also need to accommodate remote finance workers and would love to incorporate best practices on processes and procedures.
What we have in place
- We currently have a list of current finance tasks, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have current processes and procedures drafted, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,682 , allowing us to focus on our new and growing operations in 2023 which include the addition of 300 chickens and more outreach programs!
As our organization is growing, so is our finance team and we want to make sure we have strong controls and processes in place to prevent fraud and ensure that our financials are accurate.

NDC is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization providing revitalization services to the San Carlos Apache children and families through creative and life transforming projects at the 80 acre Dripping Springs property on the San Carlos Apache Reservation.
