Earned Income Plan
Earned Income Plan
Project details
What we need
- Assessment and recommendations for income-generating activities that will complement the Organization's current mission and existing programs
- Actionable steps necessary to implement recommendations, alongside estimates of upfront time and monetary investment required
- Challenges and potential risks identified in pursuing the plan
What we have in place
- We already have a small employee assistance program that we would like to ramp up and make available arts and entertainment organizations. And we have strong relationships with performing arts and entertainment organizations in New York and Los Angeles with which we currently partner on a variety of initiatives.
How this will help
This project will save us $11,794 , allowing us to buy groceries and prescriptions for 160 low-income retired and senior performing arts professionals.
The Actors Fund's programs and services are made possible by a robust foundation of charitable supporters. But as we expand our health, housing, employment and human services programming to meet growing demands for assistance, we need to diversify our income streams to strengthen our financial base. This project will help us increase earned income while furthering our mission to help performing arts and entertainment professionals who are in need, crisis or transition.
