Project details
What we need
- Creation of a strategic plan for an online crowdfunding campaign
- Step-by-step guidance throughout the implementation of the campaign
- Evaluation at the end of the campaign to gauge effectiveness and guide strategy for future campaigns
What we have in place
- We currently have an extensive email list, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have over 750 likes on Facebook, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,500 , allowing us to reach 750 Facebook followers and raise money to support our kids.
Tracy's Kids is an art therapy program dedicated to helping young cancer patients, their siblings and parents cope with the psychological stress and trauma arising from cancer and its treatment. There are few if any charities like ours, and the only thing keeping us from expanding are the funds needed to pay a Masters-trained Art therapist. The feedback we get from parents and doctors is compelling and inspiring and motivates the donors who hear about what we do.
Project plan
Our mission
Tracy's Kids is an art therapy program dedicated to helping young cancer patients and their families cope with the psychological stress and trauma arising from cancer and its treatment. All of our services are provided free of charge with the goal of ensuring that the children and families we serve are emotionally equipped to fight cancer as actively as possible -- and prepared for the time when they are cancer free.
What we do
Tracy's Kids provides an outlet where sick kids, their siblings and parents feel free to express themselves in ways other than through words and medical jargon. Using art to identify emotions and feelings, patients and their families are empowered by Masters-trained Art Therapists to process and discuss the difficult experiences that come along with cancer. Art Therapy provides an opening through which difficult or painful issues can be explored, released, and ultimately understood.
