Website Construction (CMS-Based)

Project details

What we need
  • Development of a new website using a Content Management System (CMS)
  • Training to ensure Organization's staff members can update content and manage the site post-launch
  • Note: This project is for a website built with a Content Management System (CMS), such as Wordpress, Squarespace, Joomla, Drupal, or Weebly . A CMS-based website can be maintained and updated easily (no coding required!)
Additional details

Nice to have: It is nice to have a website that provides resources for families, children, and individuals to have about our organization; in case they need further assistance. I would LOVE the website to have a unique, calming yet powerful (that offers transparency, useful information, professional contact info.). It would be awesome to have a “happy go lucky and safe feeling” website! That others will say “Wow!!Who designed that!!”

What we have in place
  • We currently have a 1st draft brochure, Facebook (not live yet) a Twitter,, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have E-Board members, Logo & office space, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $16,822 , allowing us to expeditiously serve 500 children & families in the Rockland County – especially Spring Valley, New York, 10977.

Why is this important: We are a new non-profit organization that is in dire need of being well established in Spring Valley, New York of Rockland County. The local School district “East Ramapo School District” (you can google how the district is being stripped to the bone of resources). I am being proactive to help this community as lack of resources should not be the cause for failure. We would like to provide support, advocacy and case management. As a certified bilingual professional licensed social workers; many families will be positively impacted and you can be a part of it!

Certified Bilingual Social Worker and School Distr

Our mission

Tender Steps of New York, Inc. was founded by Evelyn Bautista-Miller, LMSW, SDA, Bilingual
Social Worker, who saw a desperate need for various types of counseling services to be provided to many families and clients in her county. In addition to providing services, there is a need for ongoing services to assist former group home or foster children.

What we do

Tender Steps of New York, Inc. is an organization working and approved as a 501C3 nonprofit organization status (as of July 28, 2014 when were were incorporated). Ms. Bautista-Miller has experience as a former Supervisor in a Foster Care Agency, Early Intervention, School Social Worker from grades Preschool through High School, Alternative High School, Young Adult Residential Facility, Residential Rehabilitation Center, Assistant Principal at a Charter High School, and most recently an IEP Social Worker.

As a Bilingual licensed social worker, there also appears to be an increasing amount of Bilingual Spanish families that are in need of services within Rockland County to be able to be successful. As a school social worker, it is always important to provide concrete services to decrease the possibility of having a crisis within our great county. The goal of this agency will serve the purpose of assisting families and children to receive consistent positive counseling services and to network with efficient already existing agencies that provide services to young adults.

As a licensed Social Worker and School Administrator, Ms. Bautista-Miller saw an
increasingly desperate need for various types of counseling services in the county, especially among young people and in the Latino community. The goal of this agency is to assist families and individuals by providing counseling services within the community.
