What we have in place
  • We have previously defined our brand's purpose, values, tone of voice, color scheme, logos and font. We also have a marketing resource that would be available to work and assist with Wello's brand refresh.
How this will help
This project will save us $7,842 , allowing us to empower 1000000 women and girls across rural India.

We are a social enterprise that is at a key moment in our growth journey. We have a product that we know creates immense impact and is globally scalable. We have our first round of units out in the market and are ready with our second round of production. While we have begun our marketing efforts. We think it is crucial for us to ensure that all our stakeholders communicate uniformly. This is the time for rethinking the application and extension of our brand identity!

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Volunteer Manager provides Professional with current logo (if available), branding guidelines, and any existing marketing/communications materials
  • Volunteer Manager sends Professional examples of logos, brands, and design elements preferred, and links to website and social media pages

Milestone 1: Brainstorm
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager connect to discuss the branding goals, target audience, and preferred design elements
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager agree upon a style concept and the detailed scope of deliverables (e.g., logo, custom graphics, updated style guide, new style guide, etc.)

Milestone 2: Logo Design
  • Professional drafts up to three different logo designs and shares with the Volunteer Manager for feedback
  • Volunteer Manager selects one of the design options and provides feedback
  • Professional iterates upon the design for final delivery, including versions of the logo for different uses (e.g., black & white, full color, and formats for print and digital use)
  • Professional delivers the final version of the logo including specifications for usage (colors, size, etc.)

Milestone 3: Visual Branding Guidelines / Style Guide
  • Professional drafts the visual branding guidelines, which features the logo design and a specific set of colors, fonts, and any custom graphic elements to be incorporated in future communications
  • Volunteer Manager reviews the draft guidelines and provides feedback
  • Professional incorporates feedback and prepares the final version
  • If custom graphics are included in the agreed-upon scope of work, the Professional provides them in high-resolution formats for digital and print use

Wello is a social venture with a bold mission: to effectively deliver clean water to a thirsty world.

Wello’s mission is to meet the needs of the billion people worldwide who do not have reliable access to water. Through the application of innovative, appropriate, and low-cost solutions to water transport, storage, and collection, we seek to improve human health and well-being, reduce poverty, and create life-changing opportunity.

What we do

Almost 100 milion people in India and 1 billion across the globe lack reliable access to water. This means they spend more than 30 minutes per trip (and its usually multiple trips) in order to meet their families basic needs.

Wello is an startup based in Bombay. We design and deliver disruptive innovations that address the transportation of and lack of access to safe water.

Our flagship product, the WaterWheel, is a 50L rolling drum that allows women to transport 3-5x more water than possible using traditional methods. It greatly reduces the time and physical burden enduring while collecting water in pots on the head.

The WaterWheel is a multi-functional tool, the impact of which ranges from time saving, income generation, education, agricultural productivity, and even to something as simple as relieving the stress and anxiety around having enough water in the home to meet basic needs.
