Salesforce Database Customization
Help Adoption Center create a customized Salesforce database that allows the organization to track donors, clients, beneficiaries as well as manage and analyze large amounts of data.
Salesforce Database Customization
Project details
What we need
- A Salesforce database including: a customized set of Salesforce objects, single-record editing of data and field history tracking (up to 15 object types), a customized set of views to allow table-based editing of data (up to 15 views), a customized set of reports to pull data from multiple object types (up to 15 reports)
- Migration of Organization's current database to Salesforce
- Training for designated staff member on new objects, reports and views
- “Hand-off” documentation on the object schemas and any custom code
What we have in place
- We currently have a database in-house. We have the data already pulled from the system and held in cvs files. We have reports already worked out. We have one tech person who will be your liaison and can help you gather any information we may have neglected to get together already.
How this will help
This project will save us $22,852 , allowing us to hold one more adoption event serving 20 older youth waiting in foster care.
Our nonprofit has been using a database designed for adoption agencies, for the past 3 years. The database has reached the end of it's usefulness for us. Our funders demand more granular data that we cannot currently provide. Also, we are missing opportunities to connect with donors - both current and future. Finally, a Salesforce-based database will allow direct-service staff to focus more on service, our development manager to do more individualized giving projects, our communications team to produce more content and all of us to coordinate better, rather then tracking organizational details and reporting on metrics.

Testimonials
Jon was amazing! Project was more complex then expected, but Jon handled it with ease. I can't imagine having done this project with anyone else.
