Establish links with the Royal Society in UK and Science Technology Engineering Mathematics organisations in other countries who might want to adopts some of our disadvantaged yet effective schools and resource them as well as raise funds for us.
What we have in place
- We currently have Maths Centre Profiles, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a responsible individual, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to reach 500000 disadvantaged youh.
Story telling in the world of Maths, Science and technology is a tall order. Everyone thinks in a limited manner about Maths and Science. We need to tell a compelling story of subjects that are at the heart of skills development for alleviating poverty in a global economy. Big corporates need to value informal economy, not considers it a poor relation of mainstream. These are beautiful, practical subjects that will increase employment chances and an understanding of the universe as a lateral benefit. We will increase our Corporate partners and donations multifold in real transformation and sustained alleviation of poverty.

What we do
Maths Centre, South Africa provides a world class service to correct, restore and enhance mathematics and science performance thus assisting young people from disadvantaged communities to higher learning chances. Audited by Deloitte, Maths Centre is accredited by ETDPSETA and endorsed by South African Council of Educators.
Maths Centre corrects the throughput stream of Maths, Science and Technology for the youth who may be at school, unemployed, not in training or just at home. The subjects covered are Maths, Science, Technology, Accounting, ECD and Entrepreneurship Education, World class Resources, IT software packages. Advocacy campaigns involve the community, business and industry.
