What we need
  • Document that articulates in a consistent voice key messages about the Organization’s identity, constituents, mission, and vision
  • Creation of taglines and talking points to help the Organization communicate clearly and concisely
  • Recommendations on tailoring messaging for common communication channels (e.g., website copy, printed marketing collateral, pitching verbally)
What we have in place
  • We already have some brand messaging with language in place. We have both Twitter and Facebook accounts with over 400 likes on the page. We have also gotten some press for the organization which could be better utilized.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,600 , allowing us to provide meals for 150 homeless LGBTQ youth looking for a safe space to hang out until housing becomes available.

This project will help Destination Tomorrow effectively communicate our mission/purpose, while showcasing what makes us different from other local LGBT organizations. We will be able to communicate our story and the stories of those who benefit from our program/services. This will be especially useful to increase our fundraising efforts, helping to attract donors.

Destination Tomorrow’s mission is to provide an affirming space for all members of the Bronx LGBT community to obtain supportive, culturally competent services.

VISION STATEMENT

The vision of Destination Tomorrow is to empower LGBT community members mentally, economically and culturally through programming and services thereby enriching their quality of life.

THE TOOLS AND SUPPORT TO LIVE IN ONES TRUTH.
WHETHER YOU IDENTIFY AS GAY, OR TRANSGENDER, YOU ARE YOUNG OR A SENIOR IN OUR COMMUNITY. WE HAVE SOMETHING FOR YOU.
WE ARE BRING PRIDE BACK TO THE BRONX BY OFFERING A FREE MONTHLY LEGAL CLINIC, REFERRALS TO LGBTQ SENSITIVE MEDICAL PROVIDERS, YOUTH DROP IN PROGRAM, SUPPORT GROUPS AND COUNSELING & CASE MANAGEMENT.
