Mobile App Prototyping (Android)

Project details

What we need
  • A proof-of-concept Android app prototype
  • Documentation of the functionality and how users will use the new app
  • Consultation on how to publish and maintain the app, as well as resources for finding assistance moving forward

  • Note: The Mobile app will be a functional prototype but will not be production ready with full user experience (i.e. visual design, animation, etc). Here are some examples of mobile app prototypes: Real Change, SF Trees.

What we have in place
  • We currently have the bones and structure of an app, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a back-end database, dedicated website, support team, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $14,612 , allowing us to rescue and rehabilitate 1000 lives.

It's estimated that 10 million dogs and cats are lost in the U.S. every year and one in three will become lost at some point during their lifetime. To help, we've developed PetSpotter, an iOS app that will allow users to post lost or found pets, and be notified when those pets are located in their area. This tool is crucial to help reunite pet owners with their beloved companions. Unfortunately, the app never worked properly and has since fallen into disrepair. We're looking for help to get this amazing project on Android, as well as updated for iOS.
