Mission

The mission of Weekend Backpacks is to improve the lives of students affected by food insecurity in Baltimore.

We envision that all students are nourished and ready to learn.

What We Do

We provide 1200 students weekly with bags of food to sustain 3-4 people throughout the weekend. Our bags are nutritionally balanced and non-perishable. We supplement with fresh bread and fruit when we can.
