Our mission is to use our own lived experiences with mental health challenges to empower and equip others in Virginia to achieve recovery and wellness through a self-directed approach.

What We Do

No one fights harder for a cause than someone who has been directly affected by it. When it comes to mental health, Vocal Virginia speaks from experience. As leaders who face our own mental health challenges, we bring a unique perspective to advocacy, education, and collaboration that empowers us to better champion the right for everyone to have access to quality mental health services and support.
