What We Do

The U.S. Green Building Council – Minnesota is a vibrant and diverse community of businesses and individuals that share a common goal: everyone learns, works and lives in a green building where they have healthy air to breath, where energy and resources are conserved and that contribute to a more sustainable and prosperous future.

USGBC-MN is creating a community striving to increase the quality of life in MN communities through green practices. We do this by educating, advocating and creating hands-on demonstration projects.

We work with k-12 schools to create projects that involve children, teachers and families in learning about sustainability through hands on activities.

We teach community members about sustainability through home renovation projects in undeserved neighborhoods.

We create training and education for technical professionals working on the design, construction and operation of sustainable buildings.
