Mission

Turning Points for Children brings social and health services to vulnerable people. Our work is built on the foundations of wellness, safety, diversity and collaboration. We believe in the power of resilience and possibility. We do this through our programs: Family Finding, Food and Wellness Network, Parenting Support Services, Community Umbrella Agencies, Foster Care Services and YVLifeSet.

What We Do

We do this through our affiliates and our programs: Family Finding, which connects kids aging out of the foster care system with families they had lost; Parenting Support Service, which serves teen moms and dads and adult parents; the Food and Wellness Network (FAWN), a community-based food pantry offering food, infant formula, diapers and nutrition education resources; and YVLifeSet, which provides intensive case management for youth who have aged out of foster care.

We recently added Foster Care to our programs and The Bridge is an affiliate that provides residential programming for teens.

In addition, Turning Points operates four Community Umbrella Agencies (CUAs) as part of the Department of Human Services' Improving Outcomes for Children. Turning Points is regularly lauded by DHS for being a top CUA performer in key benchmarks and for strong management.
