Mission

The Trinity Jubilee Center is a secular community center in the heart of downtown Lewiston, Maine dedicated to addressing unmet needs and serving some of the poorest census tracts in the state. What began with a few sandwiches in 1991 has grown into five thriving programs serving more than 1,000 people every week. Families that sank into generational poverty after the closure of the city's textile mills wait for food alongside refugees who left everything behind when they fled violence in their home countries. Healthy food, served with respect and dignity, forms the foundation of the Trinity Jubilee Center's work.
