Touch a Heart is dedicated to preserving and enhancing the dignity of the homeless and disadvantaged. Through impactful, innovative, community partnership, we assist them toward self-sufficiency, independent living and life transformation.

What We Do

At its essence, we are about job creation and workforce development to the marginalized in Hawaii - the homeless, disadvantaged and those with barriers to employment.

Specifically, we partner with organizations that have underutilized commercial kitchens to turn them into profit centers 'with a purpose'. By 'purpose', we mean: 1) using the kitchen for its vocational training program in food services as well as, 2) utilizing the kitchen as a worksite to serve the community through a food services social enterprise - a business, whether a cafe, bakery, catering service, meal delivery service or a food production site for branded products.
