Mission

Our mission is to work in partnership with families to help society’s most vulnerable children so that they become educationally proficient, economically productive, and socially responsible members of their communities.

What We Do

The Children's Village works with the most at-risk children and youth in New York City. Some are in foster care and have been removed from their homes because of abuse or neglect. Others have made poor choices and have gotten in trouble with the law. We provide intensive help to families to keep kids at home and, when that is not possible, we operate a short-term residential school aimed at stabilizing youth and helping them develop the skills and attitude to succeed.
