What We Do

Norwalk Community Health Center has been providing compassionate healthcare and wellness programs to its patients, from newborn to seniors, in Fairfield County since 1999, regardless of ability to pay.
Almost 13,000 patients each year entrust their pediatric, adult, dental, women's and behavioral healthcare to NCHC at its 120 Connecticut Avenue location, a new family and behavioral health office at Smilow Life Center, and aboard its Medical Mobile Unit. Telehealth visits are also available.
NCHC also offers free wellness programs to its patients, health fairs and screenings in the community, hosts a Farmer's Market and is committed to leading patients, families, and the community to achievement of its best possible health.
The US Department of Health and Social Services (HRSA) has recognized Norwalk Community Health Center, Inc. among the top 10% of health centers nationally for clinical quality in 2019 and again in 2020. NCHC is one of only 150 Health Centers out of more than 12,000 sites to achieve this gold standard milestone.
