NAMI is a grass-roots organization, largely volunteer-run, of families helping other families with loved ones challenged by mental illness. We educate, support and advocate for families and individuals.

What We Do

NAMI Buffalo provides 8-week evidence-based classes for families or caregivers with a loved one with mental illness. We also provide support groups, a helpline, monthly community education meetings, a newsletter and a practical guide of resources - The Mind Matters. We also advocate for local, state and federal mental health issues.
