Mission

Common Good is a digital currency and payment system with the ultimate goal of local democratic control of the economy. We integrate a cutting edge card- and app-based payment system for use online and in stores with an innovative participatory democratic system for deciding as a community how much credit to issue and what to fund with it. We aim to provide an alternative, people-centered money system where communities come together to decide what our money should be used for, to shift power from big business and big government back to communities, where we know and care more.
