The Council on American-Islamic Relations – Massachusetts (CAIR-MA), a registered 501-C3 educational nonprofit, is a chapter of America's largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization. CAIR-MA’s mission is to enhance the understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.
What We Do
CAIR-MA serves one of Massachusetts’ most vulnerable demographics: the American Muslim community. This diverse population includes refugees and immigrants, children and youth, the elderly, and the disabled.
But CAIR-MA does not exclusively serve the Muslim community: by educating the wider American public about Islam and American Muslims, we help dispel cultural misunderstandings and bridge gaps between diverse groups.
