What did Stephanie have to offer?

Your organization combines two of my passions: education and social change! Much of my ability to succeed and motivation to make something of myself came in those formative years of high school (when I was President of Key Club, was chosen to be a student representative on the county's school board, and became class Valedictorian); so, I highly value Teach2Serve's intentions. I would be excited to help facilitate a discussion where your organization can think more deeply about and build on your vision and build a road map for the future. * I possess three years in research for a major financial firm, during which time I analyzed the opportunities in and future of a particular industry/sector to help drive company-level investment decisions. * I have conducted in-depth analyses of organizations for my PhD research, involving participant observation, interviews, and document review to assess how different organizations in the same space implement their goals. * I have facilitated and led potentially tense discussions in educational settings and community organizations. I have taught at the university and adult level and run extracurricular educational activities. I am also part of a collective in New York that operates with non-hierarchical, consensus decision-making (requires great communication!) and have served as Vice President of the board of a small non-profit organization in Boston. * I have also undergone board training through the Arts and Business Council of Boston.
