Why is this project important?

With an all volunteer staff and mostly bootstrapped funds, we created the 1st iteration of our Virtual Career Day and distributed it to over 250,000 users with amazing feedback. We reviewed our analytics data/feedback from students, school counselors, and teachers and are ready to implement the 2nd iteration with new features/functionalities/design. Gladeo won 2 awards at the Social Innovation Fast Pitch and are ready to take Gladeo to the next level. Now that we have proof of concept, this project will lay out our 3 to 5 year strategy helping us grow efficient/effectively.

This project will save us $12,550, allowing us to clearly articulate our vision and strategy for the next 3 to 5 years allowing us to attract long-term donors and corporate partnerships.

Daniel DioGuardi is a leader, strategic and disruptive thinker, and communications professional, with a progressive entrepreneurial spirit, growth mindset, keen editorial eye, and passion for education, media, and the arts. Currently, he sits on the Board of Directors for New York Shakespeare Exchange, a nonprofit NYC theatre company, where he develops and manages the tactical execution of marketing strategies. He also teaches students English at St. Francis Preparatory School where he is also a Technology Facilitator, leads professional development for faculty, and has developed and implemented technology, art, and sustainability programs that demonstrate a creative, cross-curricular style. To better engage learners, Daniel incorporates into his curriculum extensive social media, performance, and filmmaking. At SFP, St. Francis College, and the Lutheran School of Flushing and Bayside, Daniel has successfully led progressive marketing plans aimed at boosting enrollment, and redesign initiatives aimed at modernizing and integrating curriculum and approach. Additionally, Daniel has helped develop and implement iPad 1:1 programs, which have served as tentpole marketing initiatives for both SFP and LSFB. After a decade of working to innovate schools of all levels, Daniel knows how to truly engage and lead diverse audiences, and how to evaluate and develop processes of individual and organizational growth.

He lives in Glen Cove, NY, and enjoys running, practicing yoga, reading, going to the movies, and traveling.
