I'm Zack Sherzad. After receiving my BA English in my very early twenties, I shipped off with the United States Peace Corps and spent 27 months teaching English in the Tanzanian public school system.
Dedicated volunteer, passionate wordsmith, insatiable learner, and hardcore descriptive gramma...
What did Zachariah have to offer?
Storytelling is a particular passion of mine. Stories have held a uniquely important role in the process of human civilization. It has historically been the primary medium for passing information down through generations of people. I would be honored to take up the responsibility of helping you craft stories to pass on information about your program. I love to write. I've written my entire life in both technical and creative capacities. Also, I am a uniquely qualified candidate, since I spent two years in Tanzania with the United States Peace Corps, teaching both English and HIV/AIDS education. I have seen firsthand the terrible effect HIV/AIDS has on individuals, communities, and even entire continents. Many of the students I taught were HIV-positive. It is heartbreaking to know that so many promising young lives are ruined by this disease that disproportionately affects people in developing countries, and I want to do whatever I can to help.
