What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

We need an experienced visual storyteller to create a pitch and explainer videos for curaJOY and its emotional wellness platform. To meet the requirements of different audiences, we need three variations of the videos: 1 min, 2 min, 3 min. You would be expected to create a storyboard/script, and be the director of this video.

What we have in place
  • We currently have video footages of founders talking, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have product prototype and families you can interview, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to make our conversational emotional wellness app a reality.

Videos are critical for quickly presenting what we do to research partners, funders and volunteers.

Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product

Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback

  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)

curaJOY is a 501(c)3 non-profit that provides a one-stop solution for families to raise socially and emotionally thriving kids through evidence-based digital solutions that promote personal growth, continued practice, and authentic social connections in real life. We partner with psychologists, educators, parents, and kids in the United States and Asia to develop interactive digital programs that enable transformative and autonomous learning in English, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese with plans to make other languages available. In this way, we aim to enhance the entire family's emotional wellness and develop the next generation of successful adults and community leaders who will lead the way in developing a socially responsible, diverse, and productive world. curaJOY's Quest Depot app improves families' emotional wellness with an omnichannel conversational learning app that integrates Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, real-life projects, rewards, and gamification. Participants interact with in-game embodied agents who deliver personalized content sourced from the collective wisdom of psychologists, educators, business leaders, and youth worldwide, based on their age, communication style, performance history, and mood.
