What we need
- 1-2 page summary of takeaways and trends from interviewing key individuals (no more than 8 interviews total)
- Identification of the board’s strengths and recommendations for areas of improvement for board members collectively and individually

JerseySTEM has a Corporate Council in charge of establishing contacts for partnership with Corporations interested in the mission we serve (Gender Equityin STEM education and careers).
We are assessing our strategy to roll out that model and expand our network of support.
What we have in place
- We currently have a committed coucil with 4 members, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have established connections with new companies, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $8,773 , allowing us to provid instruction to an additional 80 students
Corporate parterships are one of the pillars of our organziation and it is imperative that we have a process that allows us to continuously grow that network

JerseySTEM is a grassroots 501(c) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math ("STEM") education to 5th-8th grade girls in New Jersey underserved communities
We partner with socially responsible companies and their employees, youth organizations in underserved communities, and civic-minded college students and universities.
Together we develop and deliver innovative, hands-on, and online afterschool projects and inquiry-based learning opportunities that develop teamwork, 21st-century problem-solving skills, and self-esteem.
What we do
Reduce the gender gap in STEM participation;
Bridge the innovation gap in STEM education by introducing novel formats for teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math;
Address the opportunity gap by expanding access to STEM programs in underserved communities.
