Flexible Marketing Strategy Support
Project details
What we need
- Ongoing marketing strategy support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
- Support may include: defining your marketing goals, determining the right marketing channels, messaging your program, branding, or defining your target audience
- Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details
TOM: Melbourne is looking to develop a marketing strategy that would see an integration between our website, social media and marketing materials. Our goal is to increase awareness about TOM to support engagement into the programs and events of the various cohorts we work with\, increase knowledge of the work of TOM, attract community partners, donors and increase the TOM community.
What we have in place
- We currently have a website, social media and some internal marketing material, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have some data from reporting and metrics last year's PR campaign, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to engage more of our target cohorts, increase awareness toward attracting donors and partnership. It will be crucial to integrate all of our platforms and communications to strategically objectives.
We would like to be able to increase connection to the community (including individuals with disability and their support networks, makers including engineers, OTs, industrial designers, software developers, tinkers and tradespeople, also teachers, universities, funders and the general community. We would like the TOM name to be a recognised and maximise our audience reach.
Project plan
Our mission
TOM's vision is a world in which technology and innovation allow every person acccess to affordable solutions to their needs. Our moonshot mission is to help 250,000,000 people by inspiring and supporting a global network of communities dedicated to this vision.
What we do
We work with people with a disability who have a specific need, "Need-Knowers", and connect them with a diverse group of professionals, including engineers, industrial designers, health professionals and tradespeople, "Makers".
Together, they design and build products that solve a complex problem and improve the everyday life of the Need-Knower. Recent prototypes include robotic arms, powered crutches, wheelchair wheel cleaners and bespoke exercise machines. The intellectual property for every product is then shared through open-source Digital Product Files, so others can replicate or iterate it in their own communities around the world.
