The themes include stewardship-based initiatives such as Tree Care, environmental justice public resources such as the Impact Hours series, and climate communication programs such as the Creative Climate Awards, a competition bringing climate-inspired art to NYC audiences and beyond. HII's framework focuses on using arts and creativity as a tool for strengthening traditional environmental action methods. HII has developed environmental programs on a variety of topics for diverse audiences. Programs include youth environmental leadership intensives, community environmental workshops, local estuary and tree care stewardship opportunities for all ages, and more.
