What we need
  • Setup of Google Analytics account and tracking codes for web assets (e.g. mobile apps, website, blog, social media)
  • Training on how to track performance, set up reports and analyze the data collected online
  • Set of guidelines for data collection, interpretation and analysis
Additional details

We have Google Analytics set up, but we haven't optimized it so that we can answer questions such as "after someone clicks on this page, they go to the next page", etc.

We'd love to work with someone that can walk us through this type of detail for our program websites.

What we have in place
  • We currently have access to all of our systems and analytics, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have people on the team that can update our websites as necessary, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,772 , allowing us to re-invest in funds into making the system changes that can help us provide better services to Texans.

Our systems (HubSpot and Analytics) are showing a lot of traffic, but we don't know if the users are getting the most of our website. The better we can set up our websites, the better we can provide support to people that are exploring work in our career field. Our goal is to get as many people trained as possible.

  • Professional connects with Volunteer Manager for a brainstorming/overview session, to discuss goals, current web platforms, and existing data on statistics (if any)
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager outline next steps and timeline for the project

Milestone 1: Tracking Setup
  • Professional explains basics of getting started with Google Analytics and sets up tracking codes based on the Organization’s goals
  • Professional trains Volunteer Manager on setting up reports to collect desired data
  • Professional reviews implementation of tracking codes to ensure they are working and helps troubleshoot as needed

Milestone 2: Training
  • Professional creates guidelines for data interpretation and analysis, and shares any tips for continued used of Google Analytics
  • Professional reviews above guidelines and tips with Volunteer Manager
  • Professional is available for up to two weeks to address questions as Volunteer Manager starts to regularly monitor analytics
