What we need
  • A compelling narrative, or set of stories
  • Persuasive copy that can be used in appeals to donors, annual reports, grant applications, and media relations
  • Popular examples: Organization's founding story, a program achievement or milestone, a look back at the past few years, organizational backgrounder, etc.
  • Note: This project is not intended to support your general content planning or marketing but there are several projects in our Marketing & Communications category which are a good fit!
Additional details

This will be used to tell our story pre-COVID, how we've built on our 24 year history to respond to the pandemic and racial reckoning and what we hope for the future.

We will use this for recruiting board members and supporters, funding applications and building back enrollment and patrons.

What we have in place
  • We currently have background information, a strategic plan and testimonials, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have samples of printed and digital materials, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to garner the support we need from past and new participants and patrons. Articulate how we put inclusiveness at the center of our mission eight years ago and the impact that has had on individual lives

We have struggled with telling our story in a compelling way that we can repeat. As Executive Director, I find myself reinventing the wheel each time I talk about us and trying to pack too much into each story. It looses impact.
The pandemic has had devastating effects on us as a performing arts organization. We need to expand a tired board of directors and begin planning for a capital campaign for space which we will need in four years.
