Project details

What we need
  • Customized Excel Training session(s) for up to 5 people over the course of 1-2 days
  • Sessions may be broken up into Beginner, Intermediate, and/or Advanced
  • Sample topics may include: formulas, commonly used functions, autofill, sorting and filtering, freezing, hiding, and grouping, formatting tips, keyboard shortcuts, pivot tables, charting and graphing, print readiness, collaborative work issues, and overall best practices
Additional details

We have a new volunteer program and are in need of a volunteer management system. Our Volunteer Coordinator is an Excel beginner and looking for support in creating a system for tracking volunteer data.

What we have in place
  • We currently have Microsoft Office 365, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have Google Meet, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,168 , allowing us to hire a part time life coach for our Children and Youth program.

As an organization serving the blindness community, it can be difficult to find a CRM that meets our specific accessibility needs. This project would allow us to manage data in a platform that is accessible to all of stakeholders.

Our mission

To cultivate growth and opportunity for blind people through nonvisual skills training; gaining the knowledge that all challenges have solutions, and fostering self-efficacy, empowerment and confidence.

What we do

SAAVI Services for the Blind is a blindness rehabilitation training center; providing skills training in low vision and nonvisual techniques to people of all ages.

Whether a student is new to blindness; has received training in the past and would like to learn new skills; or if an individual is experiencing vision loss for the first time, our goal is to provide skills training so our students may lead productive and independent lives. Our programs serve a variety of individuals of all ages, from children to seniors, all with the goal of providing confidence and skill building opportunities, through training and education.

By participating in any number of our programs, our students can gain confidence and the skills that allow them to return to the work force, pursue secondary education, or begin the path towards a new career.
