What we need
- Audit of existing Employee Handbook, or internal communications regarding employment policies
- Edit or creation of a new Employee Handbook, which may include any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety and Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation and Benefits policies, any Non-Disclosure Agreements or Conflict of Interest statements that may apply, and any other pertinent information
Additional details
We have a 50-page employee handbook that we would like reviewed to ensure that the language is inclusive and egalitarian. We seek a reviewer to examine the document to ensure we have avoided wording that expresses or implies ideas that are sexist, racist, or otherwise biased, prejudiced, or denigrating to any particular group of people.
Suggestions/edits for alternative wording would be desirable.
What we have in place
- We currently have Drew Brock, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have Meryl Gunter, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,430 , allowing us to message to the community, to parents and families who are our clients, and to prospective staff members that our workplace supports the ideals of justice, inclusion, equity, and diversity.
