What we need
- Ongoing finance support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
- Support may include: budgeting, planning, systems set up and review
- Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details
We are looking to transition to a new accounting company and need to ensure we are internally prepared.
What we have in place
- We currently have monthly/quarterly P&Ls statements and balance sheets, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have receipts and spreadsheets to support bookkeeping, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,094 , allowing us to serve more children, parents and early educators through our various community programs.
This project will make us more self-sufficient, while we locate a new accounting partner.

With the support of NBCDI and local community partners, BCDI-Atlanta delivers high-quality resources that respond to the unique strengths and needs of Black children and their families. BCDI-Atlanta partners with children, families and organizations to implement culturally relevant, culturally responsive, trauma sensitive and evidence-based programs promoting high-quality early care and education, literacy, health, and family engagement.
