What we need
  • A new partnership proposal presentation, or an update of an existing proposal in Powerpoint, Keynote, Google Slides, Prezi, or another presentation software
  • Best practices and tactics for structuring an effective partnership proposal
Additional details

JerseySTEM partners with Community Engagement, Employee Resource groups and other stakeholders at corporations to support our program.
We are seeking assistance to build a library of template proposals that can be used with prospective partners.

What we have in place
  • We currently have an existing offering and past proposals, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have a few target organizations, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,828 , allowing us to provide instruction to 50 additional underserved students

Being able to partner with our sponsors to serve the kids is at the heart of our operating model

Prep: Distribution of Prep Materials
  • Existing partnership proposals (if applicable)
  • Specific elements to be included in the proposal, such as data, graphics, images, or key brand messaging
  • Organizational background materials helpful in crafting the pitch, such as mission and vision, annual report, or other fundraising or communication materials

Milestone 1: Brainstorm
  • Professional and Volunteer Manager discuss the goals, intended audience, and desired length of the presentation

Milestone 2: Outline
  • Professional outlines the new pitch to convey overall presentation arc, slides to be included, and important supporting elements
  • Volunteer Manager provides feedback, which Professional incorporates

Milestone 3: Final Deliverable
  • Professional delivers a final draft of the presentation, along with notes to help guide presentation delivery

JerseySTEM is a grassroots 501(c) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math ("STEM") education to 5th-8th grade girls in New Jersey underserved communities

We partner with socially responsible companies and their employees, youth organizations in underserved communities, and civic-minded college students and universities.

Together we develop and deliver innovative, hands-on, and online afterschool projects and inquiry-based learning opportunities that develop teamwork, 21st-century problem-solving skills, and self-esteem.

What we do

Reduce the gender gap in STEM participation;

Bridge the innovation gap in STEM education by introducing novel formats for teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math;

Address the opportunity gap by expanding access to STEM programs in underserved communities.
