What we need
  • An edited 1-3 minute video delivered in electronic format as agreed upon between the Professional and Organization, with HD quality as a master version, along with any agreed upon formats for final usage
Additional details

We have a growing number of interviews that have been recorded by our team in the field that need to be reviewed and have minor editing done. Minor editing could include adding opening animation branding, audio adjustments, clip adjustments, and addition of basic lower thirds or motion graphic additions.

What we have in place
  • We currently have all the raw footage and branded animation templates, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have plenty of images and other videos that will help with b-roll, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $5,422 , allowing us to redirect those resources to capturing additional stories, which will attract additional program participants and donors that allow us to create additional jobs in East Africa.

This project gives us the chance we can introduce the entrepreneurs we work with to local and international partners, which helps us humanize our work and introduce those entrepreneurs to their peers and potential customers. These projects help us communicate to a broader audience and show our breadth in terms of the different types of entrepreneurs in a more relational way.

Prep: Information Sharing & Asset Exchange
  • Volunteer Manager provides overview of vision and goals for video, as well as information about target audience
  • Volunteer Manager and Professional agree upon file format and length of video
  • Volunteer Manager collects collateral (e.g. raw video footage, photos, testimonials, media materials) to be edited into the video, and digitizes all the materials in the format and resolution suggested by the professional. If applicable, the Organization provides links to 3-5 videos it would like the professional to use as a creative guideline for the final product

Milestone 1: Video Outline & Script Finalization
  • Professional reviews assets that the Organization shared (including existing footage and proposed script) to create video outline
  • Professional shares with Organization and incorporates feedback

Milestone 2: Video Creation & Feedback
  • Professional creates video in agreed upon format and shares with Organization for feedback (up to 2 rounds)

Milestone 3: Final Video Delivery
  • Professional delivers final video in agreed upon format
