Logo Design & Visual Brand Identity
Project details
What we need
- Consultation regarding the Organization's current branding and desired branding objectives
- Visual branding guidelines / style guide that include specific colors, fonts, and other graphic design elements to use in print and digital communications materials
- High-resolution logo delivered electronically (in formats for digital and print use)
Additional details
BCAction is looking for a graphic designer to support our upcoming Spring event, Drawing the Connections. This event is a week-long art auction with a virtual, kick-off fundraiser that features an intentionally-curated collection of art, focused on breast cancer, health, and social justice. We are looking for a designer to help create the event logo, invitation image, an image for our emails, a social media template, and miscellaneous deliverables for the webpage.
What we have in place
- We currently have examples from last year's event branding, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have logos, a brand guide, brand colors and fonts, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,632 , allowing us to focus on our programmatic work to address and end breast cancer.
This will be the 2nd year that Breast Cancer Action will host our new event, Drawing the Connections. This event is values-driven and resonated strongly with our community when it launched in 2021. The success of this first event likely means it could become our flagship annual fundraiser, and we need a designer to help bring this event to its full potential and help bring in new supporters and breast cancer activists.

Testimonials
Jonathan was the volunteer graphic designer for Breast Cancer Action's annual event, Drawing the Connections. Instead of bringing on different volunteer designers for each event deliverable -- like event logo, social media templates, featured images, and web design elements -- we asked Jonathan to go above and beyond to create all deliverables for the event, and ensure their consistency. Jonathan's commitment to doing so, his incredibly crisp and clean style, and his superb design skills completely elevated the aesthetics of this event. His design work helped transform the look of this event from one of a small, emerging, grassroots fundraiser, to one that is now fully professionalized, reinvigorated, and hopefully newly enticing to our community of members. His work is stellar and I highly recommend working with him!
Working with Tibby (and the wider BCAction team) was a tremendous experience. She was organised, efficient, enthusiastic, and full of encouraging praise for the design work I delivered. I thoroughly enjoyed our time working together on the project, from brief to completion, it was a seamless and stress free volunteer assignment. I would jump at the chance to work with her again!
