What We Need
  • Ongoing graphic design support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
  • Support may include: logo design, flyer design, branded assets for social media
  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional Details

BCAction is looking for a graphic designer or team of graphic designers to support and revamp our visual design elements across the following platforms: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, our website, and other digital platforms as needed. We are looking for strategic guidance and exciting execution of graphic design elements to grow consistency across our brand and better engage long-term and new supporters.

What We Have In Place
  • We currently have examples of our current social media deliverables, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have logos, a brand guide, brand colors and fonts, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How This Will Help
This project will save us $2,397 , allowing us to focus on our programmatic work to address and end breast cancer.

Bolstering our graphic design work across our digital media platforms will grow our reach and extend the outreach of the critical, unique, and health justice-oriented deliverables that Breast Cancer Action produces.

Project Plan

Prep: Information Sharing & Goal Setting
  • Volunteer Manager provides an outline of current state of graphic design at the organization

Step 1: Ongoing Support
  • Volunteer delivers ongoing support according to determined outline
  • Weekly check-ins to ensure support is being offered as agreed upon by both parties
Step 2: Training & Offboarding

About The Org

Breast Cancer Action
Our Mission

Breast Cancer Action's mission is to achieve health justice for all women at risk of and living with breast cancer.

Paula's team of students with Impact Design Hub was an incredibly fun, creative, and fresh-eyed group of emerging designers to work with. They created over a dozen templates for our team to use and took a really close look at our Instagram content to help make recommendations for strategy going forward. I am impressed with the values and the overall execution of Impact Design Hub projects, and thankful for the team's commitment to helping refresh our Instagram.
