- We currently have a website up and running, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have ED dedicated to work on this with you, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $4,828 , allowing us to deliver more produce to more children nationwide.
The purpose of Tamara Renee Day is to inspire children to love fruits and vegetables. This project deliverable will help us engage and partner with after school programs across the US.

Our mission
Empowering children and teens in food deserts with nutrition education and access to produce.
What we do
In order to fulfill this mission, Betty Jean Brown Foundation uses its flagship produce program which provides produce and nutrition education to children every two weeks. Our target audience resides in areas considered food deserts where such produce is cost-prohibitive or unavailable. Betty Jean Brown Foundation partners with local schools, nonprofit organizations, and afterschool programs in such areas to deliver fruits and vegetables as well as educational resources.
