Thank You Letter
Thank You Letter
Project details
What we need
- A well written, meaningful thank you letter (no more than 1,000 words or standard two-page letter) that effectively communicates how the donation has helped the Organization
Additional details
I want to edit the thank you letter for our annual appeal fundraising drive. The audience is generally people who are middle-aged or older. They are interested in some aspect of environmental issues in the local area of West Central NJ (the Sourland Mountain Region).
The letter will be used to thank the donor and convey our gratitude for the work they make possible. It includes education, advocacy and environmental stewardship (planting, forest restoration etc).
What we have in place
- We currently have samples of our thank you letters from the past couple years, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the appeal letter that we sent out in November, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,540 , allowing us to spend more time being thoughtful. Time is so precious to us. We often rush and hustle at the last minute and it's not healthy. This time will allow us to be more prepared in advance and more calm.
It will help our donors stay engaged and therefore be more likely to donate again. It will also give them a picture of what work their money is making possible. Lastly, I would like it to be a way to encourage them to get involved with the organization in other ways, such as attending webinars or joining the Stewardship Crew which goes out twice a month to plant and remove invasive plants. This would give them an invitation to go deeper into how they can help and what they can get out of it.

Testimonials
Sarah was such a joy to work with! She listened to my various ideas for a thank you letter and put them together so beautifully. She is a phenomenal writer. Her attention to detail and care for the organization were clear throughout the process of crafting the letter. I highly recommend Sarah!
I sincerely enjoyed helping Maya and Sourland Conservancy. Not only does the organization have an amazing cause, but Maya was kind and very easy to work with. I wish Sourland Conservancy the very best and look forward to seeing it accomplish its goals.
