Project details

What we need
  • Audit of existing Employee Handbook, or internal communications regarding employment policies
  • Edit or creation of a new Employee Handbook, which may include any of the following: Standards of Conduct, Work Schedules, Leave Policies, Termination Policies, Safety and Security, Anti-Discrimination policies, Compensation and Benefits policies, any Non-Disclosure Agreements or Conflict of Interest statements that may apply, and any other pertinent information
Additional details

Tandem, Partners in Early Learning is an early childhood education nonprofit in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our team includes 18 staff members. We currently have an employee handbook, but it needs to be updated.

What we have in place
  • We currently have an existing employee handbook, which should make it easy for you to get started. Through our insurance provider, we also have access to a Think HR account, which provides templates of employee handbook sections (in alignment with relevant state and federal regulations) that can be customized to suit the needs of our organization.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,430 , allowing us to serve more children, families, and educators by providing high quality early learning experiences.

This project will improve internal communications within the organization by providing a central repository for all company policies.

Our mission

Tandem, Partners in Early Learning partners with families, educators, and communities to surround young children with interactive learning opportunities that build early language and literacy skills, strengthen social and emotional skills, and foster a lifelong love of learning. Tandem focuses on our communities’ youngest children, who are at greatest risk: those in low-income families, children of color, English language learners, and children who are not enrolled in preschool or formal care.
