What we'd like to talk about
We need advice on transitioning our SMS-based program from a small SMS provider to Twilio. Will building in Twilio fix the problems we need to solve? Is there a downside? How long will it take?
Additional context
We have a free Twilio account and have been accepted to the Impact Access Program. That means we have a $500 credit, discounted pricing, and access to the Impact Corps developer community.
We have SMS campaigns created in our current SMS provider account but are having performance issues with their software. We believe their platform, which is built on Twilio, is too lightweight for our purposes since it was designed for sentiment analysis. Our campaigns are designed to expand access to information about social programs.
