What we need
  • Analysis of one dataset
  • Document articulating discoveries from analysis

JerseySTEM uses Google Workspace for its 100 pro-bono volunteers.
Usage data of users (login information, emails sent, received, calendar events,etc..) are recorded continuously and exported to a text file ever might.
We need a data analyst to design a dynamic report summarizing the data using Google Data Studio.

What we have in place
  • We currently have the data readily available, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have examples of reports to produce, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $6,154 , allowing us to provide programs to 120 addition middle schoolers.

Being able to support the volunteers engagement with accurate reporting is key to our all-volunteer organization

  • Volunteer Manager shares data set to be analyzed, and provides context for where the data came from (what the fields mean, implication of values, etc.)
  • Volunteer Manager shares purpose behind how and why the information was gathered and what insights would help serve the Organization (if found)

Our mission

JerseySTEM is a grassroots 501(c) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math ("STEM") education to 5th-8th grade girls in New Jersey underserved communities

We partner with socially responsible companies and their employees, youth organizations in underserved communities, and civic-minded college students and universities.

Together we develop and deliver innovative, hands-on, and online afterschool projects and inquiry-based learning opportunities that develop teamwork, 21st-century problem-solving skills, and self-esteem.

What we do

Reduce the gender gap in STEM participation;

Bridge the innovation gap in STEM education by introducing novel formats for teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math;

Address the opportunity gap by expanding access to STEM programs in underserved communities.
