What we need
- Design of one email marketing template based on the Organization's visual branding guidelines

This #GivingTuesday email will be sent to our newsletter subscribers via MailChimp. Our target audience consists of friends/family & people from the general population who are eager to learn more about climate science, clean energy, and climate action. Educational levels vary among our target audience so we have an easy-to-understand and simple writing style, and a friendly but sincere tone. While we are talking about climate change, we like to keep things positive and not too doom-and-gloom!
What we have in place
- We currently have a rough draft of the #GivingTuesday email that we will send out next week, as well as an example of a previous #GivingTuesday email that we sent in 2019. Additionally, we can provide various writing samples of ours that demonstrate the tone and writing style we would like to take with this email. We are requesting a knowledgeable, outside perspective on how to make our message more compelling.
How this will help
This project will save us $1,608 , allowing us to put these funds directly towards our ongoing projects that make climate science more understandable and actionable for all.
This annual event helps fund our nonprofit's day-to-day operations, as well as our ongoing community microgrid projects, communications projects, student internships, and youth engagement efforts. It also serves as an opportunity for us to thank our supporters and remind them that their willingness to learn about climate change, clean energy, and climate action is greatly appreciated and makes a difference!

Our mission
We are a woman-run nonprofit that works to make climate science and clean energy understandable and actionable for everyone!
What we do
We partner with grassroots orgs in environmental justice communities to design clean energy accessbility projects. This is mostly in the form of microgrids, but we have some others too! Right now we have active projects in Chelsea, MA, Cambridge, MA, and Boston's Chinatown in MA.
