Project details

What we need
  • Minor updates to Organization’s existing website (e.g. adding new copy and/or images, customizing styles/themes, basic layout revising, etc.)
  • Training for Organization staff on how to make minor updates going forward (if applicable)
Additional details

We are creating a new website for our small org using Squarespace. I need someone to set up the donation page with our payment processor, Stripe, using a form that syncs with our CRM, Little Green Light. My colleague and I have had a fun and easy time setting up our Squarespace site, but this task is beyond our skills.

What we have in place
  • I am standing ready to support the professional in any way possible to get this task accomplished! Our Squarespace site is set up, and we are already using Stripe on our current site. We have had Little Green Light for three years, and they have tutorials on how to set up donations via a form so all donor and gift information will flow to Little Green Light and Quickbooks.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,666 , allowing us to give more to immigrant families in need. Our Family Care Program gives $500/month for three months to families who are struggling financially, enabling them to catch up on rent and pay bills.

Our current website is just bad. I inherited it when I took the job three years ago, and I am depressed with myself for letting it go this long. We have not had a stellar year for fundraising, and we need a functional, awesome site with the right messaging to serve our families and engage donors! http://elrefugioministry.org (current site)

Website Minor Update Project

I greatly enjoyed working for El Refugio Ministry. Patti is fun to work with and an excellent communicator. What I love about Catchafire is it gives me the opportunity to meet interesting and talented people who work for causes I believe in. I don't just volunteer for nonprofits, but I also meet new people I never would have met otherwise and I make new friends.
